The reasons of these phenomenons

1.Continuous cropping

Continuous cropping is a problem for strawberries and growers know it. So they use a lot of chemicals to treat the soil every year. At the same time, the beneficial organisms in soil also be killed. It lead to the situation that strawberry’s roots could not adapt quickly, even seedlings death.

If raw manure and unripe organic manure are applied and a large amount of water is poured after planting, it will lead to seedling/root burnt. Therefore, it is necessary to apply decomposed organic fertilizers as well as watering in advance. It is advisable to use Microbes fertilizer when watering, and to improve the soil to create healthy environment suitable for the growth of strawberry roots.

When planting, it is necessary to pouring Small waterplane(forbid flood irrigation),and so as not to harm the root system.

Dora Rootguard’s application in strawberry seedlings

Before planting

Dilute 20 times of Dora RootGuard to dip roots, 15kg/ha, and do not dip roots under high temperature and strong light. It is recommended that the seedling being planting after the roots are dried in order to protect the root from germs and to stimulate the root growth of the strawberry.

During planting

When planting, use a hole, or mix with organic fertilizers, etc., spread and deep-dip, and use 30-45kg Dora RootGuard each heatare. It is recommended to keep the soil moist after use so that the bacteria can germinate better. To kill soil pathogens and balance the soil micro-ecological structure, so as to achieve the role of promoting crop growth.

After planting

Dilute 300 times of Dora RootGuard after planting 7-10 days, and can be applied by irrigating roots or drip irrigation to supplement the amount of bacteria to achieve the best state of the bacteria.

The above methods all can prevent problems such as strawberry death, weak seedlings, and continuous cropping, which are usually occur in the strawberry planting at seedling stage.

At the same time, they can improve the resistance ability, increase growth, promote quality and yield of strawberry in the later period.

Application case of Dora RootGuard on strawberry

Root growth

After applying Dora Rootguard, the roots of the treatment group were rapidly rooted, the roots were robust, and other pathogenic infections were effectively prevented. In the control group, the rooting rate of the plants was slow, the roots were weak, and they were susceptible to other pathogens infection.

Diseases prevention and control

Powdery mildew is a common disease in strawberry cultivation. Spots of varying sizes appear on the leaves of strawberry plants. The back of the leaves forms a layer of white powder and the leaf margins are atrophic. In severe cases, the leaves will dry and the young fruit will dry out. This will seriously affect the yield and quality of the strawberries. The customer used Dora Rootguard to dilute it 100 times and sprayed on the leave. After 12 hours of use, it showed obvious control effects. The white powder fell off and the leaves spread out. The plants grew well.

Promote growth

The stolon is an important vegetative organ of strawberry. After using the Dora Rootguard, the plant grows quickly and the stolon is more robust, providing more seedlings for late cutting. Dora Rootguard is very effective in promoting the growth of strawberries!
